Black Rims For Trucks

Question Do you think Black 24" rims would look Good/Flashy on a (White)2005 Dodge Ram 2500?
I was thinking of getting Black Rims for my truck but I was wondering if it would look too flashy because I live in an not so good area and I didnt want anything too flashy that would excite thiefs so instead of chrome I was thinking of going black!!!

Best Answer well first of all you are putting 24 on a truck so regardleess you get chrome or black you are goin to "excite thiefs" but anyways man i it depends if ya truck has like chrome accents.. like does it have any other chrome on the truck... if it does then i would go wit chrome but if it does not go with the black wheels with white lip... i think that would go hard...

Question what type of rims should i get for my 99 chevy blazer?
right now i have 15 in rims. ( 5 lugs ) I would like to get bigger rims ( black ones, since my truck is black 2 door) should i go with 18 or 20 inches rims? aND IS THIS SOMTHING THAT i cwn just do myself? can rims be change from 15 inches to a 18 inches without buying nothing else?? thanks

Best Answer If you are going off road, then 20" might be too big and will be more easily damageable, so in this case i would go for 18". If your Chevy is Gloss Black then try Matt Black rims. either 18" and 20" will require low profile tyres. If you got 15" rims on your Chevy, take +3"/5" from the line where rims ends, and see how much space you've got from 18" rim to arch , but remember you will fit tyre as well. But if it will be too big, then maybe you will have to change springs or re-shape arches. You can try your local garage, and as guys what they think. Hope it makes sense.
